Our History

Many patients still remember the time of single handed GP surgeries, and indeed our surgery is made up of three original single handed GP surgeries: Dr Ray, Dr Ghosh and Dr Venugopal surgeries.  We are very proud to follow in the footsteps of these three great GPs.

These three surgeries were initially taken over by St Andrews Group, however in order to deliver modern high quality care, Drs Richardson and Raghunath decided to break free and create a new organisation which would be committed to effective patient focussed care.

So where does James Alexander fit in to this? you may ask.  James Alexander was an ex-veteran from a working class background, who grew up in the north of England.  He decided to quit smoking at the age of 90 proving it's never too late to stop and continued to live a healthy life, reaching the grand age of 103 in 2017.

He is an example of our aspiration for all of our patients.
